"I’m ready to embark on my own path of conscious consumerism, one that is open to spontaneous detours because it’s being driven by a strong inner compass." This is a great way to put it! Thanks for the mention :)
And I can def see the appeal of that cardi — love the angles on the collar, oversized buttons (are they mother of pearl?? because that would win me over instantly :x ), tonally versatile color, cropped-ish sleeves... fab find indeed!
I love the thought and nuance behind all these intentions, especially the idea that it shouldn't feel so high stakes as to induce panic. And also, we never know what life throws us...I was so excited for summer dressing but I was hit by a very bad case of persistent eczema all over my limbs and torso, and it rather took the wind out off my sails -- I felt a bit down that I've not been able to wear my favourite shorts and summer-weight skirts so far, but I've also come to accept that clothes are a very small part of enjoying the warm weather in the greater scheme of things.
Sorry to hear about your eczema, but I’m glad that you’re able to have this perspective. Yes, it’s nice to put on that great, mood-elevating outfit but life can still be enjoyed in plain, forgettable clothes, too. Style should only enhance experiences, never bring them down.

Yeah I've been loving that cardigan with the MOP buttons. It's such a great quality vintage piece. :)
While on maternity leave, I found re-discovered my spark by sewing oddball stuffed animals from scrap bits of fabric.

These all feel like achievable, enjoyable intentions!
