oh i love how strong your color story is, truly feels like you know what will make you feel happy and comfortable. also that indigenous textile/clothing exhibit is incredible, cannot get over the sweetgrass top on the dress. insane artistry and skill, wow
Okay are these the Adidas Taekwondo Mei but without the laces / a strap instead???? Please tell me more… if this is a DIY I need to implement it with my own pair!
I bought these as is from Etsy! I think they’re an older version of the style. I wonder if you could just thread yours with elastic laces for easier on/off…
What a fruitful month! It’s always fun to get a glimpse of your purchases but it’s everything else (sewing, excursions, outfits) that makes the process of getting dressed so much more interesting.
Yes, I can’t believe all this happened in May! Hopefully this month will involve doing more (exploring creativity) and less (resting my senses and treasure-sniffing abilities).
Love your retrospectives! The cycle you describe here so interesting — all the gathering, preparing and imagining, followed by this conscious shift into simply enjoying and refining what you already have. There is something really mindful about it! I’m often stuck in a constant “keep making” mode, always needing another project.
Such a clever idea with your daughter's rompers too! I have to try this!

Thank you! I feel like I’ve really hit a stride with dressing and establishing a colour palette has been a big part of that.
The sweetgrass couture is by Melrene Saloy-Eaglespeaker! Such an awe-inspiring piece.

I have to tell you I love the brocade jacket and the yellow top!!
Thank you! I love them, too!

Your blues and greens are starting to burrow into my brain! Love the combos and silhouettes.
Thank you! I can’t seem to stop wearing these oceany shades (perhaps my brain subliminally saying I need a tropical vacation).
I’m so glad you got the green jacket! It’s perfect.
Thanks—I just couldn’t get it out of my head!
